Haggai: Considering shared priorities

Haggai addresses a returned community whose temple remains unfinished. The prophet connects their priorities with the work before them and offers encouragement. This particular rebuilding call should not be used as a universal fundraising command.

Zechariah: Hope through visions and return

Zechariah encourages restoration through visions, prophetic messages, and images of future hope. Its symbols invite careful reading in the setting of a community returning from exile. Justice and sincere worship remain central to that hope.
